Great tips. Candid shots are my favorite.

Good ones are harder to capture than most people realize.

I love candid shots as well. Posed shots don’t usually say anything about the event, and they are usually a complete pain in the ass to those who are forced to pose.

I like these tips – especially the kid ones. I’ve experimented some with this and for those that haven’t tried social photography, it’s tough. Most people naturally slightly tighten when they notice a photo being taken. I remember in my photo class my professor telling me that someone made a lens that took pictures at at 90 degreeangles.
